I just wanted to take a second to post on Reddit about this horrible experience i had at Earthdog today!!! Earthdog is a doggy day care that has an outdoor dog pool that they open to the public from 4-7. Being the owner of an Aussie, I decided to check this place out last week and my dog had a great time. It was a bit pricey at $10 but since my dog had fun and it was a unique place, I decided to check it out again today.

The owner was there today. Just like last week, I came in and went inside to ask if we could use the pool. One of the employees let us in the pool area and we stayed for about 10 minutes before my cousin said she didn't feel well and we decided to go. I went inside to pay and the employee told me not to worry about it since we only stayed for 10 minutes. I thanked him and my cousin and I walked back to the car. As I was about to load my dog into the car, the female owner came running out of the store yelling at us that we did not pay. I tried to explain what happened but she wouldn't let me get a word in and told me I was never to come back! What the hell!

So, I told her that her employee told us not to pay and she called me a liar. I walked back in and asked the employee to explain to her and even though I could tell that he had lied to her originally and told her that we left without paying, he fessed up. You would think this would be the end of it. But no! She continued to call me a liar and said it's people like me that are making her close down her place to the public. She said we bring our dirty dogs in and make it so she has to clean out the pool and then we don't pay. She was literally screaming in my face and pointing her finger at my nose. Psycho!!

She then said leave your dog here and come with me so I can show you something. I then turned and said something along the lines of hell no, I'm outta here, and she tried to block my exit! I told her I was going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and she called me a fu%$ing bi*#h!

I ended up bailing out at that point. I couldnt believe the audacity of that woman!

Please never go to this horrible place of "business". Totally not worth it and the owner is the devil!!!

Filing a complaint with the Denver BBB. I'd be surprised if I was the first person this happened to. It seriously came out of no where and this woman flipped the hell out on me for no reason!!

Not to mention $10 is a rip off just to take your dog swimming. If youre going to spend that kind of money, Chatfield Res is way better and much more peaceful!
