thetiebar.com is a great place for all kinds of ties at really good prices too.

I second this recommendation. The Tie Bar has some great bow ties in a myriad of different styles for a fantastic price. Every bow tie I have from them has been superb!

I third this. I bought 3 ties for my summer job, and 1 bow tie for the odd occasion, $15 each. Good quality also.

They also let you vaguely see how your tie would work with common color suits and shirts.

I know this is obviously backed by the reddit community hard already but just a heads up, the hourglass shape if you intend to buy a self-tie, can be a little big and look goofy in the wool. Other than that, go hard.

Nice site. What is THIS? Seersucker wool? I need a sport coat made of this now.

Holy crap, I hadn't even seen that. That's "shut up and take my money" territory.

Awesome bow ties by all. I love the ones from BB that are reversible, I might have to get myself one soon.

I second the Tie Bar.

The Cordial Churchman is great as well. Great products and outstanding customer service.

I don't currently wear bow ties (or ties for that matter), but I'm told Bill Nye gets most of his at Bow Ties Ltd of Vermont.

Maine bows

Their ties are $30. You choose a fabric, then pick the size and shape of the tie and they make it custom for you.

Of all places, Nordstrom Rack. They have bows for $12-15, and you don't need to pay for the shipping that ordering from the Tie Bar necessitates.

(Says the dude who has four TTB ties. Not hating here.)

Robert Talbott, J Press... R. Hanauer will make any bowtie in any width you want for the same price. Made in the USA, good prices too. They supply ties to Paul Stuart, who sells them for double. www.bowties.com
