Survey and all the information you need to know is on this page.

More information on the people hosting this survey can be found from this article which was posted here a few days ago. The important part is that they are scientists and are performing this without bias.

I am in no way connected to people running the survey. I am just someone interested in science and having psychologists better understand the mentality of fellow bronies.

I do not receive any karma from this post, so please upvote so we can get more people to participate!

I've been up 36hrs straight, but I will do it, for science

Edit: Just finished, damn it was long, also absent-ponies I'm apparently a very sad person. Good survey overall, thorough, I did find they seemed to delve into religion more than necessary, (a bit tiresome really,) but then again I'm not a psychologist so maybe it's important.

I just finished taking the survey, man that thing is long. Lots of probes for different mental disorders, which I suppose is just good practice. Lots of typos too.

From what I know of survey sites like this, you can't go back and change anything (fixing typos included) without getting rid of all the results. I doubt I could do any better with proof reading that much material.

Also, just for future reference, so that your alt text doesn't appear over your ponymote, the syntax for them is:

[](/a00 "Text goes here")

(where a00 is just an example)

So the proper syntax for your ponymote that you just posted would be...

[](/b00 "That was an hour ago")

I'm not a psychologist (though my sister is), but the one thing that I'm critical of is the viability of the control survey. As the survey and site will be known almost exclusively to fans of MLP, the control survey will mostly be taken by people either not strongly identifying with the fandom or maybe family members.

So the control will have a small sample size and will probably be "poisoned" by at least some people leaning towards the fandom. The control should have more samples (or at least the same magnitude) than the group you want to make statements about... you need a solid foundation.

I really don't like the good Doctor. His "87% male doesn't mean it's male dominated" really marred any trust I had in him to begin with.
