Hey guys, I'm working with some people at University of Nebraska-Lincoln on developing a farming coop in southern Zambia. The Lubemba coop is starting up, and we're trying to help develop a business plan. We are helping the locals learn better accounting and food production methods, as well as trying to find alternative luxury crops they can sell for some more income.

My group needs help seeing how other coops function. What are some operating farming coops that we can use as examples for ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, ideas on how to do market research from so are away would be awesome.
