hey guys, this is "photography" not "web design"... i don't like the horizontal scrolling that much either, but it's not too bad.

the photos are quite good, though not exceptional, and that's what should count ;-)

I like Textmate as well, but if you want to do serious php development, I'd recommend a real IDE. I like Netbeans the most, it's cross platform. I use it on an Ubuntu machine and on a Macbook Pro.

i'm not brown, but although i was born in germany and live in germany and always lived in germany, i always found it interesting that i have my roots in poland. it's something i can't deny. when i see polish people i realise that we have some features in common. there is nothing bad and nothing racist about it. why deny your roots?

edit: other than that. I think the performance gain is not that much for a static class over a singleton. And don't forget: You'll lose the possibility to extend your class in future development if you decide to call it with a static (actually that's not quite true, but it will be harder and not as beautiful)...

edit: seriously, I'm not a designer myself, but here's my opinion: you use a lot of drop-shadows and gradients. nothing wrong with that, but they need to be much more subtle to look elegant...
